Blaze is a handsome male red & white male Border Collie / Aussie Mix with one blue eye and one brown eye. Blaze is well socialized with other dogs and people and would make a fabulous family canine companion. He appears to have never met a stranger and adapts very quickly to his environment. He seems to enjoy being around children, but the truth is, he would like nothing better that to be next to your side being petted. He requires some activity in his life, but will settle down when you want him to. Blaze recently went to an adoption event and with all of the stimulus of a large event, nothing seemed to faze him. He is a great dog park dog, even with the smaller dogs that pestered him at the park. Blaze has learned some basic obedience and is crate trained. He walks reasonably well on a leash, but could use a little leash work. Blaze has not been evaluated with cats, so we do not know how he would do around them. Blaze is quite a stunning dog, and we do not expect that he will last long in our rescue program.
