Bo is a male 18 – 24 month-old traditionally-marked Border Collie with dark brown eyes, prick ears and a semi-rough coat. He is a classic beauty.
Energetic, this boy needs more than a walk around the block. He requires constant activity in his life. Bo would make a great running or hiking partner. He is leash trained, but needs further obedience training. It should be easy to train him, however, as he wants to please. He is already crate-trained.
Bo has a very sweet temperament, loves attention and wants to be with his person. He will want to forge a bond or be partnered in his new home. He is middle of the road in dominance, but as he has been known to fence fight with some of the males in our program, we recommend opposite gender placement. He has not been evaluated with children or cats.
Bo epitomizes what people like about this breed: he’s smart, loyal, sweet, energetic. As Bo needs a job to do, he would not be well suited for a home that does not have previous herding breed experience. |
