Meet Caramel. Caramel is a 1 year old female red & white smooth coat Border Collie. Caramel is an energetic adolescent pup who will require further obedience to realize her full potential. Caramel has it in her to be a candidate for dogs sports, as she is very athletic and biddable. This young lady is so smart and learns very quickly (she is a Border Collie after all). She already knows some basic obedience. This is a dog that will need a job to do, because she will become bored very easily. She is very sweet and enjoys attention from people, especially tummy rides.
Caramel is very well socialized with other dogs and loves to play with her foster siblings Sparky and Ruby. She is also a water baby and plays in her water. She walks well on the leash and rides well in the car.
Border Collie aficionados take note, as this is the dog you very well may be looking for. All in all, Caramel is a wonderful dog with a beautiful temperament. She is typical of her breed: Loyal, athletic, and smart.
Caramel’s adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well-adjusted adult dog in your family.
