Meet Delilah. Delilah is a female 1 ½ to 2 year old female Border Collie Mix. Our best guess is that she may have some spaniel in her. Delilah is well socialized with people and other dogs, and appears to know her basic obedience.
All Delilah wants to do is play with other dogs her size. Delilah does not like little dogs and most likely cats. Delilah walks nicely on the leash (doesn't pull) but when she sees another dog she thinks it's play and gets overly excited and that is something her new owners need to address. She has no problem in sharing her toys, because it gives her chance to wrestle with her foster sibling. She knows basic comands but obedience classes will benefit her greatly. Delilah needs to be in a home without cats and little dogs. At home she behaves but still needs to be reminded not to surf the counters, but when she is told not to she listens.
Delilah would make a great candidate for a family dog. She has lots of love to give with many years of loyal canine companionship.
