Drew is a stunning 12-18 months old split faced rough coated male. He is quite flashy with his white with black and heavily mottled coat. Drew is most likely a Border Collie / Aussie mix. When I saw him in the shelter, I was taken by his good looks and sweet personality. It never ceases to amaze me how such nice dogs, like Drew, are picked up as strays and not reclaimed by their owners. Drew needs some obedience work, as it appears he has had none. Most likely he was just a backyard dog, given the demographics of where he came from. He can walk on a leash, but is a puller. He appears to be socialized with other dogs and got along well with his shelter buddy, Sean. Drew is a youngster and has appropriate energy for his age. He will need a fairly active home, but as he matures, some of his energy will naturally subside. Drew has been crate trained. Stay tuned for updates on Drew. |
