FRECKLES
| |
|
Freckles is a 4-5 month male Border Collie "wannabe". He actually looks like a King Charles Spaniel mix, however, when he came into our program he looked like he could be a tri-color BC/Aussie mix until his foster mom realized that his short, stumpy legs were not going to get any longer! So he really wants to be a Border Collie and certainly has all the energy of a Border Collie puppy and loves the water and playing in the kiddie pool. He chases a ball and brings it half way back to you then gets side-tracked by either the pool, a squeaky toy or his fostermate.
Freckles does love his toys and will play with you all day. He is a short bundle of energy that needs an active family and would be a fantastic buddy for the kids! Freckles has also mastered the doggie door and is potty trained if he can get outside in time. He is still a puppy and will need Puppy Classes and more socialization to make him an even better family member. Freckles has his puppy vaccinations and is microchipped. He will be getting his Rabies vaccination next week and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age.
Freckle's adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well adjusted adult dog in your family.
Adopters will be required to complete Freckle's series of puppy vaccinations, including rabies. In addition to their adoption fee, a refundable deposit is required to secure his sterilization in accordance with state law.
