Hunter is a 3 year old. Mis-listed at the shelter as a Border Terrier, he certainly isn't that! He is a small guy, about mini Aussie size, and that he could be. Or maybe his is a "mini" BC of which we hear there are breeders out there trying to create...UGH. What we do know is that he is about the most darling guy. So full of life and ready for the next adventure. A rough coated Black and White, he certainly does look like a minaturized BC.
Hunter is due out of quarantine on 2-6-10, so our information is slim at this time. We do know his testosterone was on overdrive at the shelter and once we got him home as well. It did not help that one of the girls he came in with was in full standing heat. Now that he is neutered, he should settle down within the next 30-45 days as the testosterone leaves his body. He would be best placed with a female so there is no sexual competition. He is showing himself to be an active guy...no couch potato here!
