JENNA | |
|
Jenna is an easy going 2 year-old female tri-colored semi rough coated purebred Border Collie.
Upon first meeting Jenna, she had very warm and inviting eyes and was instantly trying to make a connection. She also could not stop wagging her tail. After getting down on the ground to her level, she immediately came right up and nuzzled right into our volunteer. It’s hard to believe that this sweet-natured dog was picked up as a stray and her people did not come looking for her at the shelter. It is evident that Jenna was once a loved and well cared for dog.
She has beautiful manners and appears to know her basic obedience. She is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides very well in a car. She is also well socialized with other dogs from young to old, submissive to dominant.
Jenna is so typical of this breed, as she's beautiful, athletic, smart, loyal, wants to please her human. Most of all, she wants a job to do. Jenna has an off button and will settle down right next to you. She is quite the love bug and craves human interaction. She would like nothing more than to be your new K9 BFF.
We are still getting to know Jenna better, so there should be an update to her biography soon . This is what we do know about Jenna: she is affectionate, walks well on a leash, wants to forge a close bond with her person, and she is socialized with other dogs. Her energy level is medium and she definitely has an off button.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
