Meet Little Girl. Little Girl is a 3+ year old female black and white Border Collie with a semi rough coat and prick ears. As Little Girl was an owner surrender to the shelter, we were told that Little Girl's date of birth is 02/17/13. Little Girl is a taller female, and there is nothing little about her.
Little Girl is housebroken, and knows her basic commands. She has been introduced with other dogs and is socialized with them. She has not been evaluated with children or cats. Little Girl is somewhat frustrated, as she has not realized her full potential as a border collie. She probably was just a dog park dog which did not provide her with proper exercise or any mental stimulation. Little Girl would not be well suited as just a backyard dog watching life go by her. Little Girl is looking for a person to help her with her pent up energy with proper exercise. This is a dog that will continue to blossom with mental stimulation if given a job. She is biddable and wants to learn and please you. She is a typical female BC, business like, but likes attention and is somewhat affectionate. All in all, Little Girl is a nice dog and will fit into a home with an active lifestyle for her.
