Lizzie is an 18 month-old, red and white Border Collie/Aussie mix, predominantly Border Collie, semi-rough coated girl. She is great with other dogs, good with people and kids of all ages, has a really sweet personality and is very willing to please. She is good in the house, looks forward to walks and rides well in a vehicle. Lizzie knows how to use the doggie door but wants to be with her human most of the time. She is crate trained but would rather sleep in the bedroom with you or on the bed. She is not a barker and is extremely obedient. Lizzie will need someone who can spend a lot of time with her every day and maybe give her some kind of a "job". She is very fast when running around with the other dogs, maybe would be a good Agility or herding prospect. She doesn't have much interest in chasing a ball, but would rather chase the other dogs. She does have a few "quirks" that her prospective adopter would have to deal with, nothing too extreme, but some people would not find them acceptable. In addition to the adoption application, applicants will be required to answer some additional questions pertaining to puppies which will be sent to you after the adoption application has been submitted.
