|
Luna is a 4.5 month old female Border Collie pup possibly mixed with a little Australian Shepherd. She is a little shy at first meeting but eventually warms up to you and the family.
Luna had a rough start in life, being born in a canyon with 3 littermates who, according to the people that found them, disappeared along with the mom. She was taken in by a wonderful military family who just couldn't afford to support 2 dogs anymore so they relinquished her to us. She is a very sweet pup and is learning how to play with her other foster dogs who range in ages from 5 months to 2 years, males and females. She has come out of her shell quite a bit in the week she has been in her foster home. She is a little intimidated by men but eventually gets over it. Luna is also great with children and cats.
Luna is good on a leash, knows sit, come. is very well socialized, crate trained and housebroken already. She will need to attend puppy classes for her to blossom into an even more awesome adult. Luna is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped. She currently is not spayed. Luna would make some family a wonderful pet and companion. She is being fostered in East San Diego County.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html |
