Mitch is a 2-year-old Aussie or Aussie/Border Collie mix. Listed as a pure BC in shelter, we knew that wasn't correct. However, this boy has such a mellow BC temperament that we couldn't leave him behind. He is such a handsome tri color and has a semi rough coat.
Structurally he is all Aussie, thick body and bone, coby, wedgy head with shorter muzzle, and even a short cropped tail. That is where his Aussie traits end. He is the sweetest, calmest, quietest (no barking at all which is very anti-Aussie), and most mellow boy. He is easy to discipline with soft vocal commands and that is so seldom needed. Mitch is housebroken and shown us he has impeccable house manners. He runs low on the pack and gets along with all the dogs. He even grins at you when he thinks he is in trouble....so cute. They just don't come any easier than Mitch! This guy is best friend material all the way. He would make a fabulous therapy dog.
Don't dally if Mitch interests you. Get that application in, like yesterday! He will be a vapor trail. |
