Molly McGee is an easy going 4 year old female Border Collie. She is a traditionally marked black and white semi rough coated beauty with a cute mottled nose. Upon first meeting Molly, she had very warm and inviting eyes and was instantly trying to make a connection. She also could not stop wagging her tail. After getting down on the ground to her level, she immediately came right up and nuzzled right into our volunteer. It’s hard to believe that this sweet-natured dog was picked up as a stray and her people did not come looking for her at the shelter. It is evident that Molly was once a loved and well cared for dog.
Molly is the best little rider in the car. She will crate up, but prefers to ride shot gun right next to you in the car. We are still getting to know Molly better, so there should be an update to her biography in the next couple of days. This is what we do know about Molly: she is affectionate, walks well on a leash, wants to forge a close bond with her person, and she has been minimally socialized with other dogs without issue at this point. Her energy level is medium and she definitely has an off button.
