Nino is a happy-go-lucky 6-7 month old male pup that was rescued from a high kill shelter. He entered the shelter system as a stray. Nino is black and white with a smooth coat and prick ears. His personality can be best described as a typical BC pup, as he is very outgoing, playful, confident, and loving. He has already shown that he is quite the water baby as he enjoys playing in water. He loves attention, adores being scratched on his back, and enjoys tummy rubs. Nino likes other dogs and has no fear of the older and bigger fosters in our program. He appears to be interested in cats, so we are not sure if he just wants to play and chase them, or he has a prey drive.
Nino's adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. His adopter is going to need to start at square one as he is not not housebroken nor has he been obedience trained.
He has been showered with TLC to socialize him. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well adjusted adult dog in your family.
