OLIVIA
| |
|
Olivia is a 3-4 year old female beautifully marked sable and white rough coated Border Collie mix with floppy ears. BCINs best guess is she probably mixed with some Sheltie. Olivia is a bit chunky, and could lose a few pounds. Her energy level can be characterized as medium to medium low. She would benefit from some consistent daily exercise to help her shed some of the excess weight. Olivia was an owner surrender to the shelter because she had flea allergy dermatitis. As long as she has flea preventative applied to her once a month, then she should have no problems. Since she is allergic to flea bites, Olivia had managed to tear patches of air which left bald spots on her back end.
Look at how pretty this girl is now. Olivia is quite animated, as she loves to cock her head when you talk to her. She enjoys a good romp and is quite playful. Olivia knows basic commands, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. Olivia will crate under protest, as she does not enjoy being in a crate and she will act anxious until you let her out. Not sure if this poor dog was ever let in the house, given the condition she was in when she was surrendered to the shelter. However, she has not had any potty accidents. If you rub her ears and massage her, she is putty in your hands. She is so grateful for any attention you give her. She is affectionate and warms up to you quickly. Olivia is looking for that special home to call her very own and would love nothing better that to be a pampered pooch showered with lots of love.
