Rocco is a gorgeous 4 year-old rough coat male blue merle Border Collie, possibly with Aussie mix. Rocco bonds extremely quickly and is quite the cuddler. He will need to be with a dog savvy owner who will continue to work with Rocco to let him know the world is not such a scary place. Once comfortable, he will not hesitate to roll on his back for a welcomed belly rub. Rocco is crate trained and appears to be housebroken. He has done well with housetraining at his foster home and is now asking to go out when he needs to “go potty”. He loves to jump in the car, go for walks, play, and just be around his human companion or other dogs. We recommend a home with children over the age of 8 years old and, while he does not completely fixate on cats, we would not trust him alone with them.
Rocco is an athletic dog who might be a great candidate for agility or obedience. He also is fine just hanging out, but loves to run and is very fast and agile.
