ROCKIE

Rockie is a beautiful 3-year-old purebred male Border Collie who reminds me of the old-school sheepdogs. He is bigger and stockier than the more refined BC's of today. He is a rough coat, white with large black markings and has the typical BC coloring on his face, black around both eyes and a white stripe up the nose and forehead.
Rockie is a very striking boy and very personable. He gets along well with other canines and is great with children over 8. He plays with a tennis ball and loves to run. Rockie does have some herd-drive in him and would probably not do well in a household with cats. He has not been tested on cats, however. He is a very active youngster and would do well in a physically active household. He does pretty well in the house and has not had any accidents, but he also loves the outdoors. Rockie can use a doggie door and will sit on command. He should do well in a family that is Border Collie savvy and knows how to handle some of the herd-drive traits.
