Rocky is approximately 1-year-old and is a purebred tri-color semi rough coat Border Collie male. Rocky is a typical BC in that he is an intelligent, strong willed and high-energy dog that needs an active home with a job. He will be placed in a home with a BC aficionado who has previous experience, is knowledgeable, and understands the traits of the breed. He will develop into a loyal canine companion under the tutelage of someone who knows how to challenge and channel his energy. Rocky is quite affectionate, but he is always looking for “the action”. He knows how to use a doggie door. Rocky gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing in the water. He is NOT good with cats and he has not been evaluated with children. Rocky will be neutered on 2/1, and he will not be available for adoption until after that date, however, we are accepting applications for him. |
