Meet Rory. Rory is our latest red headed boy. He is between 18-24 months old, but is still very puppy-like in his behavior. This stunner is bald (white) faced with one blue and one green eye and has a red and white semi rough coat. Although the photos don’t show it, he does have a tail.
Rory could use some leash work, however, he does know his basic obedience. He needs to learn not to jump on you. He is very sweet and affectionate. He has been evaluated with female dogs and has been fine with them. Rory loves to ball, tug, and will self-entertain himself if you take a break from playing fetch with him.
Please do not apply for Rory because he is so handsome. The home we are looking for is one with serious previous border collie experience who understands this breed, quirks and all. We do not feel that he would do well as an only dog left alone all day, as he can be vocal. Rory exhibits all the traits that border collie owners love.
