ROY ROGERS | |
|
Roy Rogers is a stunning year old male saddle-patterned and white semi rough coated Border Collie. What a beautiful coat on this dog with such a fluffy tail. He came to BCIN as a stray from a high kill shelter in the Inland Empire.
Roy is well socialized with other dogs. It is apparent that he was probably left alone in the back yard to grow up as he has no manners and will require obedience training. He will crate up under protest, and he sleeps in a crate without any potty incidents. Roy walks decently on a leash. Roy is quite the lover boy and craves attention. He attended his first adoption over the weekend and was perfect, even with all of the stimulus of the event. He got along with all sorts of people, kids, and other dogs walking up to him. He took it all in stride and has a really lovely temperament. Roy is a special dog and will make someone a fabulous companion who is willing to invest the time and energy into him.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
