TRISTAN
| |
|
Tristan is a one year old, purebred Border Collie. Such a handsome red white boy with a semi rough coat. He came in painfully thin, his coat was very dry and sunbleached. Obviously he had not had good nutrition. Someone had scissor cut his coat along his topline. He is a smaller male, weighing just 31 pounds the day of his neuter. His coat is starting to improve and we have gotten some weight on him. He will probably always be on the slight side due to his activity level.
Tristan is good natured, getting along well with all the fosters. He enjoys herding the other dogs in play and is showing medium activity level. He does have food guarding issues. Due to this he should not be placed in an home with toddlers. We are looking for a home where he can have a female canine companion. He can be vocal when isolated from other dogs. As you can see from his photos, he does enjoy water.
Stay tuned for updates as we get to know this stunner better. Fair warning, Reds this handsome are usually vapor trails in rescue. Seldom are we able to update their bios. If you have an approved application on file, you have a jump on the pack! |
