Meet Whiskey. Whiskey is a male 3-4 year old Border Collie. Whiskey is mostly Red & White, however, technically he is a tri-color, as he does have a little black on his face. He is a handsome fellow with his lovely semi rough coat and amber eyes. He has a very even keeled temperament that instantly won us over.
Whiskey is very sweet and affectionate. He is always happy to see you and he leans right up into you for some attention. He is well socialized with other dogs. Whiskey is very smart and is learning quickly. He has good leash manners. He has not been inside much at this point, so we don't know how housebroken he is, but as he does not mess his kennel at night, we know that he can hold it. Whiskey has not exhibited any food aggression around people or other dogs.
Whiskey is one of those dogs who wants to forge a partnership with his new family. We think he would be a nice family dog and a good introduction for the novice into the herding breeds. Whoever adopts Whiskey will have a loyal K9 BFF for life.
