Lovely Xena is a 3-year-old semi-rough coat Border Collie. This petite little girl (only about 30 lbs) will quickly melt anyone's heart. Not only does Xena have stunning markings, but she is honestly as sweet as they come. She is a bit of a shy and insecure girl, but given time she does come out of her shell. Ultimately, I think she will bond quite closely with her people. She is also quite mellow for a BC, which would make her an ideal candidate for those who have not owned BCs before. That said, she does have her spunky moments when she wants to play. She loves the company and playtime with her foster siblings. She also will self-entertain with toys. However, she would likely not do well in a home where she is left entirely alone during the day. She would do fine left alone with another dog, but becomes anxious without dogs or people around. Xena is also housebroken. She could benefit from some additional leash training, but overall she is a wonderful little girl. Xena is being fostered in Van Nuys, CA.
